The tofu is cut into about 1" by 2" pieces, then pan cooked in a wonderful sauce. When result is tasty dish with tofu that is fairly firm on the exterior and medium consistency as you bite into each piece. Hope you enjoy it!
First time in today was not disappointed at all. Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend
The food is good, but the waiting time is too long. I wish they had more employees
Small, no-frills place but extremely delicious. Be prepared to wait for your food. The wait is well worth it. The staff is kind and attentive. We will be back!
Very good and very kind owners. Food was great and quick. Try the spring rolls !!
I really try to don’t give the one star, but I can’t!!! I saw them take credit cards online, but when I paid for them, she said in a strong voice that we should pay in cash.... I really don't have enough cash on me, so she has a very bad attitude. If you don't pay cash, she said: you wait!!then go away 20 mins.... I can understand that your service is slow, but why do you treat the guests with a bad attitude?bye,I won’t go there any more !!!
Great place! Enjoyed the beef pho and the pot stickers were delicious.
I called on Xmas eve before heading out to ask what time they closed. I live 5 minutes away and they'd locked up a full 40 minutes early right after telling me they'd be open.I'm disabled, have food allergies, and used my limited energy thinking I'd treat myself instead of having to cook something. It's a holiday, they're a family business. Of course they deserve to close earlier than usual. Just be honest about it if someone has the courtesy to call first! Edit: went back another time during business hours with a friend and some of their signs said open, some said closed. Door was locked!Have finally gotten to try the food though! Very tasty, great service when they decide to be open. The hours are just hit or miss.Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. I'd give food 5 stars.I recommend ordering carry out if you have far to go so she doesn't close up before you can get there! She's a bit older, maybe she just forgets?
Very clean and simple dishes with a wonderful flavor. We go whenever we're in the area.
The food is great 👍
Mom and pop establishment. Meal prep times were running about 25 minutes during the lunch rush, but worth the wait. Very good food.
Love this place! The lady reminds me of my momma! Too adorable ♡ And her food is just amazing!
Really good, nice lady.
Great service and food for reasonable prices. We had the pho and chicken noodles. Tea is a plus!
Simple food made with love. This place is easy to discount as a dive. The restaurant is in a little strip mall and it would be easy to write it off, but don't. I have order several different dishes and never had a complaint about any. They are simple, the type of stuff you could make at home but that is the beauty of the place is home cooking at its best.
Owners are really nice and kind I come here once in a while for the last 16 years and I always leave satisfied.
Great authentic Vietnamese food, very nice people!
Always love the place and owners. Great food and service.
Fantastic food, I've been eating there for many years.
We went to try to this place since it was close to home and had decent reviews. We went in and were there for 5 mins and we were never greeted so we left. We will not be back.
Totally worth it. If you are not in a hurry.
They were out of all pork when I visited. Normally, I would rate this much lower because of this. However, they suggested a suitable alternative which was much tastier than I expect. I will definitely visit again.
Very clean, the food is really good. The service is pretty fast. It's a nice mom and pop restaurant. The owner is really nice. There is always good food. I've never had a bad experience here. The number 33 (Pho Ga) is really good. I highly recommend coming here, if you're thinking about it. It's pretty cheap. Overall, it's a really good place.
I LOVE this place. Their menu is huge and delicious. It's very cozy and never crowded. The complimentary hot tea is also good
Genuine vietnamese place, serving great food in Cleveland, close to Ford plant and Airport area.
This is legendary place Do not expect any American mind !!!This is legend Vietnamese restaurant
Super great food and very fresh. Bring cash to tip.
Got the Bun Bon Mau and shrimp summer rolls. Average sized portions but overall very bland.
Number 88 with chicken is my favorite meal here. Food is always amazing. Soups are delish. Service is great. I usually order take out.
Excellent pho as well as other foods. Definitely would recommend.
My favorite kind of restaurant: a hole in the wall with super friendly staff and delicious food. Ignore the "meh" eating area, the food makes up for it. Still my go-to Pho place on the west side
If you can get past the language barrier it's great. Food is freshly made and excellent!
Ideally, you call ahead and order (recommendations: #5 Tofu Me and #9 tofu in spicy lemongrass tamarind soup), an absolute must if you’re coming in with a large group. The place is run by an older couple; the husband cooks and the wife is in the front. The food is excellent, and totally worth it.
Small portions for the pho and spring rolls. Pretty average overall and I probably won’t be returning, especially when there’s better pho spots around.
This is authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Pho is absolutely amazing. I've been coming here for years. Not once has it been bad food
Low key, Great food!
Very friendly and genuine Vietnamese food
The atmosphere is average but this older couple creates some rockin pho. Fresh Thai basil and bean sprouts yum.
Don’t go. I went with my coworker starving we had just gotten off the plane. We asked if she had wonton soup. Lady said no and told us the Chinese place next door had it. We asked if she took credit card, number 5, she said nope. Then she told us to go to Chinese restaurant. Really fing weird. Not sure if it’s cuz we aren’t Asian or if she didn’t want our business or didn’t want to work. This was 2:00 on Wednesday. Never been treated this way before it was BIZARRE!!
When there on Sunday, waited 15 mins to get our tea. Waited another 10 mins for her to come back and take our order. Food takes forever to come out and it wasn’t even busy at the time. No complaints, since they even let you know they are slow, it was written on the first page of the menu. Got two bowls of pho, the portion was just enough for a little kid. At the end when we got our check and we gave her a credit card, she told us:” you pay cash you go now, card you have to wait, he busy”. What does that even mean?!!! I rarely carry cash. After 10 mins, she come back and take the card and did the credit card processing by herself........ I think this lady need to be retired and her son or daughter should help her for working hard like this. I will never go back to this restaurant again, hope she have less work now.
Portions to pricing is very fair. Quick service . food was delicious - tea comes with your order. great local place to get pho. Excited to try other items on the menu. May be cash only
If you’re a person who enjoys real, authentic Vietnamese food, then you will love Taydo. It’s owned by a local family who works hard and are very kind from my experiences going here. Sometimes service is fast and sometimes it’s slow, but this is normal for a locally owned restaurant. The food is well worth it trust me. I’m Vietnamese and this is one of my favourite shops!
Have been a customer at Tay Do for a couple years now, and each time was never a disappointment. The quality of the food is stellar and the service is also amazing. Would highly recommend.
My husband and I started to go here in 2018 when we moved here and we LOVE this place. My cousin and her husband used to go here in the 90's and still love it to this day when they visit from Florida. The owner makes you feel like you're coming right into her home and treating you as family. The owner also remembers you if you frequent even just once every two months, and her kindness makes you feel welcome. The pricing is excellent and the food is always so fresh.
This place is not a traditional vietnamese restaurant. The server was very nice. They use a microwave to cook the food, I wanted vegetable PHO, they brought me microwaved vegetables in a big bowl of hot water with no seasoning. They "pho" didn't come with the traditional thai basil they gave use old dried up parsley instead. I also asked for my sprouts to be steamed which they didn't do. No jalapenos or anything, I'm not sure what type of noodles they used, but they were mushy. My husband said he saw them being taken out of the refrigerator. We ordered spring rolls as well which were burnt! The hot Jasmine tea was the best part of the whole meal, p. The meal was expensive for small portions. My husband ordered fried rice it was old , chewy and greasy . Also they only except cash!
Good food, good prices, good service!
Delicious! We will be back for more pho! Great prices, super casual.
Such a great meal! Delicious food with a good variety of vegetables, noodles, meat & fish! Jen was so great to us! Highly recommend!!
This is a great little hidden gem. A literal mom and pop operation with seriously homemade amazing food. The food is always delicious, well portioned, and prices are phenomenal compared to the freshness and quality. The Pho and potstickers are to die for!
Pho was delicious! Spring rolls were delicious! Decor is what it is. Totally worth the wait and the trip to Parma.
I had the pho and fried rice here. Both were awesome! 👍👍
